How do I create a Blue Maids Account?

Creating an account is simple. Go to the Sign Up page and provide you email address and nominate a password. You will get a confirmation email in the email address you provided. Click on the link provided and confirm your password. You can the book your first cleaning service or buy a gift card. You will then have to provide you name, address, and telephone number to complete your registration before making a transaction.

Do you service my area?

We service the DC area, Maryland, and Virginia. You can check if we can service your area by filling in the booking details on this page. We will send you a notification email if we can serve you.

What is included in a standard residential cleaning service offer?

For residential cleaning, we will dust and wipe down the floors, table surfaces, and exteriors of all doors, cabinets, and appliances in your home, including the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. We will also vacuum your carpets and empty your trash. However, we understand that each home, house or apartment is different and has unique needs, so we can customize our residential cleaning service to your requirements.

How much will the house cleaning service cost?

The house cleaning service cost will depend on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms in your home and the frequency of the cleaning. We have standard cleaning service rates for up to 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. For example, one-time cleaning for a one bedroom, one bathroom home is an affordable $119. If you book a weekly cleaning, the rate goes down to $95.20 per cleaning.

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, products and equipment?

Yes, we bring our own high-quality cleaning products to make your home or office sparkly clean.

Can I request special tasks or extras?

Yes, we offer extra cleaning services for a nominal fee. These include cleaning inside of the fridge, inside of the oven, windows, and cabinets. We will also clean your walls and do a load of laundry if you want. If you prefer to use only green cleaning products for your home, we can do that, too!

What is included in a standard commercial cleaning service offer?

For commercial cleaning, we will dust and wipe down the floors, table surfaces, and exteriors of all doors, cabinets, and appliances in your office, including bathrooms and kitchen space, and empty the trash and recyclables. If you need specialty office cleaning services like upholstery cleaning or carpet cleaning, let us know and we will customize our offer.

Do I need to be at home during your visit?

No, absolutely not. You staying at home or going out during the cleaning appointment makes no difference to our cleaning personnel.

What should I do with my pets when you come to clean my house?

We will ask you to prevent pets from entering the rooms that we clean. Our residential cleaning staff is not permitted to pick up animal excrement or clean flea infested areas for safety and sanitary reasons.

How do I log into my account?

Simply click on Sign In on the Homepage and enter your email and password.

How do I change my password?

Once you have signed in, you will see your email address or username on the upper right side of the page. Click on the dropdown menu and click on Change Password. A pop up window will allow you to change your password.

How do I reset my password?

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by clicking on “Forgot your password?” at the sign in page and provide your email address. A reset notification will be sent to your inbox. Click on the link provided to reset your password.

How do I change my address?

Once you have signed in, you will see your email address or username on the upper right side of the page. Click on the drop-down menu and click on My Account. You will be redirected to your account page where you can change your address. Click Save Changes when you are done editing your information.

How do I change my credit card?

Once you have signed in, you will see your email address or username on the upper right side of the page. Click on the dropdown menu and click on Billing Info. You will be redirected to your account page where you can change your credit card information or add a credit card. Put in the required information and click Add Credit Card or Save Changes.

How do I book my first appointment?

Booking your first appointment is easy and fast. You can sign in to your Maids Prime account and click on Book Now. If you do not want to register for an account, you can click on Book in 60 Seconds from the homepage. Fill in the details for your first booking!

Pricing & Policies

Why are vouchers for first time customer only?

We understand that trying out a new service is always a gamble. You never know what you’re going to get! We offer vouches for first time customers to motivate them to take the risk. Our existing customers already know that we deliver quality services at very reasonable prices, so they know they will always get more than their money’s worth. That peace of mind is worth a cartload of vouchers!

I bought a voucher and Blue Maids does not cover my area. What should I do?

No problem. You can always sell your voucher to someone who lives in the areas we service. We will still honor it.

Why do you need my credit card information to redeem a voucher?

We ask for your credit card information for your convenience. We can bill your credit card for any extra services you might need over and above what is covered by your voucher. Don’t worry, we will keep your personal and financial information to ourselves, and we will inform you if we will be doing so and get your go ahead before we perform the service.

Can I trust my cleaning professional?

You can definitely trust any Blue Maids cleaning professional we send to you. We guarantee you needn’t worry about your safety or security because we carefully and thoroughly vet all our cleaner personnel. Every one of them is experienced, professional, reliable, and speaks English. We check their identity, background, and references, interview them in person, and send only those that have satisfied our high standards and that have been highly rated by other Blue Maids customers

What happens if something goes wrong during my appointment?

We value open communication with our customers, so you can always call us with any concerns, problems, or issues that may come up during your appointment. Rest assured that we will address them to your satisfaction, or you don’t pay.

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

We take the trust you give us with your home, personal information, and financial details very seriously. We will not divulge, share, sell your personal and financial information to any third party, or otherwise compromise your safety and security.

Do the cleaning professionals go through a background check?

Yes, our professional cleaners go through a rigorous background check for any criminal or otherwise illicit activity and personal interviews before deploying them to your home.

What is your 100% satisfaction guarantee policy?

We guarantee to provide you with the best residential and commercial cleaning service based on your requirements and requests as stipulated in the standard cleaning inclusions plus any extra services you may have requested to your complete satisfaction. If you find that our cleaning service is deficient in any way in terms of what is stated in your service contract, and despite all our best efforts to address the deficiency, you will not have to pay for the service.

What is your refund policy?

We only require payment for cleaning services after the work has been completed to your satisfaction. Payment signifies satisfaction, so we presume that there were no issues regarding the quality of the work of our cleaning staff. We will therefore not be refunding any payments already made.

Who will come to clean my home?

A team of English speaking professional house cleaners, fully trained, insured and employed by Blue Maids, will come to clean your house or apartment. All Blue Maids employees are fully insured, bonded, and dressed in recognizable uniforms. They will come at an agreed time and work tirelessly until your home is sparkling clean.
